Following additional postgraduate work in Occupational Medicine, he served as the founding Director of the Department of Occupational Health Services at Creighton Saint Joseph Hospital in Omaha until 2006, when he began work as the founder and medical director of Occupational Health Systems, Inc.
He served as the clinical director of Occupational Health Services and later as the Disability Management Program medical administrator at the University of California Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and subsequently as the founding medical director of the Occupational Medicine department at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington. From 2001 to 2005 he served as Associate Area Medical Director for the U.S. Postal Service in the Pacific Area.
Dr. Fanucchi is certified in Occupational Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He was appointed to chair the ACOEM Task Force on Electronic Information Strategies, and has served as editor and webmaster of several websites related to the field of occupational and environmental medicine.
He has organized and directed postgraduate continuing-education courses for thousands of medical and nursing professionals in the field of occupational health, including full-day "hands-on" multimedia Internet seminars at the American Occupational Health Conference. Dr. Fanucchi has also organized and directed week-long informal "drop-in" Internet Learning Centers at the AOHC, visited by more than 6000 physician and nurse participants.
Dr. Fanucchi is experienced in providing real-world guidance and "hands-on" assistance and leadership in the creation of cost-effective disability management and occupational health programs, substance abuse prevention and "drug testing" efforts, ADA and FMLA compliance programs, and safeguards to protect the confidentiality of employee health information.
He has spoken to groups of occupational health program directors, employers and human resources managers, workers compensation administrators and case managers, risk management and disability management specialists, emergency medicine and orthopedic groups, safety directors and union representatives, on subjects including the ACOEM Occupational Medicine Practice Guidelines and disability management (reducing illness and injury costs for employers by facilitating evidence-based professional evaluation and treatment services to workers), substance-abuse prevention and the design of workplace drug testing programs, DOT drug and alcohol regulations, reasonable accommodation of disabilities, workplace bioterrorism concerns, and medical-ethics and confidentiality issues related to the health of workers. He has served as an instructor for recurring NIOSH seminars on the subject of Medical Information Management in Occupational Health.
Dr. Fanucchi is a Medical Review Officer and has assisted hundreds of public- and private-sector employers to develop and implement workplace substance abuse prevention and drug-testing programs. He is an active member of the Western Occupational and Environmental Medicine Association, and is a founding member of the Cousteau Society.

...and in honor of the man who has done so much
to destroy the rights of workers, veterans, citizens of the U.S. and residents of the planet,
to destroy the environment in which our grandchildren and great-grandchildren will live,
to cause untold human and environmental destruction in his megalomaniac pursuit of war,
to endorse war crimes and ensure decades of global political instability,
to polarize this nation and destroy our democratic system of government,
to loot the country and cripple our economic future on behalf of his corporate cronies,
to undermine the United States Constitution and suppress the rights of the citizens of this country,
and to help ensure that the right of free speech is afforded only to those
who spout support for his thieving, lying, conniving, warmongering, racist, criminal policies,
while on his way to achieving the dubious distinction of being the Worst President In History,
I offer a hopeful reminder of how little time "King George" has left to continue his campaign
of incompetence, stupidity, arrogance, and greed ...
